What's today --- Cats-run-out-day?

My Maxie ran away this morning. He really took off right over the fence, startled from the noise going on from roof work a couple houses away. I called and called him but he still hasn't returned. I'm hoping that he'll be back later this afternoon. My sister reported that her Moochie cat also took off this morning. That's really a shame because Moochie has been spayed and received excellent care since my sister took her in. I'm so worried that Maxie is going to cross the street again, though he may not, as he ate a nice breakfast at home this morning.
