Girls kissing girls is this a new fad?

Kissing on the cheek to say hi, bye, or cheer a sad girlfriend up should be considered perfectly normal. Girl on girl tongue lashing at bars, parties, or anywhere there are a bunch of guys watching...I think that they do it because the common gossip or knowledge is that men get excited watching 2 women do this. What happened to the good old days when a girl would catch a guy's eye and the starting point to communication was a smile? Things have certainly changed. I think that each generation gets stunned by the next generations' behaviors. I know I am stunned at the lack of self respect I have seen in public and even on those heinous Girls Gone Wild commercials. I could go on and on as to why I think promiscuousness has reached an all time high.

I am 29, when I was a teen what you describe was not a rare thing - well maybe the passionate kissing, but not a quick peck on the lips or cheek.

WhyWiki, I remember clearly my generation of girls growing up holding hands and practicing the "KISS" with each other, waiting for the day when Our first prince would lay one on us. I can not say that we did it in public LMAO. But it was not at all unusual for woman or young girls to show affection like that. It was not looked at either as a gay trait.

I hug my "girlfriends" and sometimes kiss on the cheek I think many girls 16+ do this, and it's just a natural display of affection.

A lot of girls are kissing each other now a days and there is nothing wrong with that though.

im 26 and when I was in High School it was a fad among certain groups to appear lesbian and then those you would never of expect turned out becoming lesbian when they started the behavior as a way to rebel against the clique but the kissing on the cheek is I guess meant to look cute.
