Is there traning to be a general transcriptionist?

I work a full time job and am looking to make a little extra cash. I've been looking at ads for trascriptionists and wondering how you get your foot in the door. I've done some searching for general transcriptionist training but can't find anything. How do you get started if you need experience but can't find anything on training?
