I have Bermuda grass which overall is great. I paid a lawncare service last year, but my finances are low so I stop it. It was nice and green with no weeds. I now have to control the weeds and not sure what I need to do. My coworker said I need to put down a weed and feed control every quarter. My lawncare people use to treat it every month. What do you guys do? How about Scotts Products have you tried them? She recommend Scotts products.

Scott's products are great. They also come with a guarantee. They are what I use for my clients.
The lawncare company wants to treat your lawn every month so they will have something to do. I own a landscaping company and I have seen that most don't know what they are doing. Although most shrubs should be trimmed in the spring or fall a majority of them will trim shrubs during the hot months when the grass is not growing. They do it so they have something to do.
If you have the time to do it yourself you should.
