Have you your changed boot screen ever. I did not like the boring boot screen of xp. So I have changed the boot screen to good one. Have changed the boot screen?

i took off my boot screen so my computer boots in bout 5-10 seconds with boot screen it goings faster..

How did you remove your boot screen. Did you use msconfig to do that. Now how do you feel without the boot screen. Does it really speeds up by 15 seconds. I just want to know so that I can also try that. Please reply

I tried of personal boot screens when I was using Windows 98, which is a long time ago now. I even created a few personal images to use for a while, but the novelty wore off since I have very little use for it. I have never even bothered changing the boot screen for WIndows 2000, XP or Viata.

You can use tuneup utilities to change and also to create custom boot screen.
