It seems that the 3 police officers were found not guilty by a NYC Judge after hearing the case. Many people are upset and Rev., Al Sharpton has threatened violence (he claims non violent but it usually ends up violent). People hear what the media reports and riots sell news. The judge ruled that the witness for the DA gave inconsistent and conflicting testimony. Their history was tainted and some had a grudge against the police. I only found in a few news articles the fact that one the police officer was deliberately hit with a car in an attempt by the victim to get away after being warned to stop. The victim also rammed a van, later identified as a police undercover van.
This case now moves from the legal court to the court of political correctness. Having talked to several Civil Rights Attorneys and people who work for the Civil Rights Commission at the state and local level their thinking is if a complaint is filed you have to prove you are innocent. They are more concerned with what you are thinking. Ex. the college student who was studying for an exam and several students were yelling and singing out side his dorm at 1 or 2 in the morning. He yell something to the effect that "shut up you sound like a bunch of pregnant water buffaloes". In the group were some Black Girls ad they filed a complaint of Discrimination (violating their civil rights). The young man had to apologize and attend sensitivity training because the girls took the comment as racial. The Rev. Al Sharpton has played the race card and threatened violence so any jury in NYC will be thinking if we find the police not guilty will i be targeted and maybe hurt by the people Rev Sharpton is sending out.
The police will be found guilty of something and Rev Al Sharpton will continue to be paid big money by the news media to spread his message of racial hatred and violence.

It is going to take a long time but as long as people such as yourself keep pointing out what is going on, eventually people will wake up. Already the situation as to PC is not nearly as bad as it was 20 years ago. I know that does not seem possible, but I'm sure that if there had been an internet 20 years ago you would not have been allowed to make this post and would have been banned. We are slowly, slowly, making progress.
