BOOK! My 15 month old daughter woke up this morning and the first thing she did was run into the living room and throw open the lid of her tub of books. She grabbed an alphabet book and sat there for a good 15 minutes looking through the book. Not toys or breakfast, but a book was her first thought this morning. She loves books and will sit and look at them for what seems like the longest time. Do you remember when your child started to really love books? My son was much older than 15 months when he started to really like them.

My son loved to read and could read at second grade level when he was in kindergarten and finally we found out that he was bored stiff in an ordinary classroom as he was a gifted child so we had to put him in a private school for gifted children there he thrived and had no problems with his school work at all.At age fifty he is still an inveterate reader as am I .
