here at my lot i have seen my discussions and i never respond to my discussions and what about u do u do this or nor?

Hi, I didnt know that its possible to do that. I tried to once when I posted a discussion that is missing a very important letter in the link and so I tried for ways and read otehr peoples discussions on how to edit you dicussion but there is no way yet to edit so I decided to just post but I didnt find the button on the site like 'respond to this discussion'. It was just empty so I just waited for some other user to respond to that discussion and that was the only time that I was able to correct the mistake that I had made.
When other mylot users has responded to my discussions and I feel that it needs a response I comment back so I dont really techinically respond to my own discussions, Im more of replying to the response made to my own discussions..

i have come to know by ur respond here that we can not make respond to out discussion and i am also thankful to u for responding here so detailed. and yes i also know when we respond to any respondent then we are not responding to our discussions. thanks a lot once again.

No, I don't respond to my own discussions because the reason why I posted them is because I want to check out my own ideas as against the ideas of others. However, i respond or comment to responses to discussions I started.

Hi there atifshahzad1!I haven't tried doing that and I don't see if there's any reason that I should.
I only respond to the responses posted on my discussions to thank them for posting a response and for sharing their knowledge about the discussios. I also ask them questions if there's something else that I need to know in relation to their post.

i do respond to my own discussion but i do it along with my question....i ask people question but i include an answer on the next box so people will know what to answer on my discussion. its like giving people a pattern on how i want the answers done.

This a most interesting post as I never tried to do this. But it could happen as I have seen a lot of post that are almost the same wording as mine. You will know that you can't respond to your own post but anything is possible? Have a nice day and thanks for the nice question and post!
