mine would be ranging from 128-192 kbps, if the song is long, like it lasts for more than 5 mins, i tend to set it to 128, if its pop or R&B, etc, usually 160, but if its rock, and if the song lasts no more than 5 minutes, i set it to 192 coz ive noticed that when you listen to rock/alternative or any type of music that uses an electric guitar, and its set to only 160 or 128 kbps, they tend to sound mono. and i dont like it. i like to hear the track in its "best" form, with the least file size so i use 192 on rock tracks. non-rock tracks will do just fine on 128 kbps. the "bass" feel is still there. so how about you, what is your preferred bitrate? and while were at it, what is your preferred song format? mp3 or mp4? mine of course, would be mp3.

what do you mean? you dont know of a website where you can download free stuff? there are lots of sites out there man, you're missing out on alot. torrent sites included. maybe you go to those legal download sites where they give you a free download, but the artist is just starting out yet or is independent, therefore, not well known. go to www.seekasong.com or www.kohit.net , you'll find many great tracks there. i usually download from there, since limewire is a memory hogger and its inconvenient for me to surf the net while using that one. i only use that if im gonna read a long article or type reponses in multiple windows here in mylot.
