How Do You Like Your Soap? What is your preference when it comes to bath-body-hand soap? Do you like your soap solid in a cake or bar? Or maybe liquefied in a squeeze bottle? How about with a handy pump to press? What's the deal with "Soap-on-a-Rope"??? Why do some people need a leash for their soap? Is there really a big problem with soap getting away from them in the shower and running amuck in the house? Back in the early 90's Pope John Paul paid a visit to Denver for the International Youth Day conferences. Souvenir stands were selling Pope Soap-on-a-rope!!! Time to come clean - How do you like your Soap?

I like bodywash in the bottle there is a lot of nice smelling body washes I love the ones that smell like coconut my daughter likes alot of the fruit scented ones. I like the antibactirel soap in the pump by the sink to wash hands with I also keep a pump bottle of hand sanitizer on hand at all times too.

I keep pump bottles of the antibacterial soaps at all my sinks. I do not like all the fragrances manufacturers put in things. I just want to smell clean! I save the little bars of soap from nice hotels and offer them to friends and family when they stay overnight, but most just use whatever is in my pumps or bring their own if they are really particular. Come to think of it...the pump bottle in the shower is probably antibacterial too.

I like it in a bottle, but also I have a thing for the hand made soaps that you can buy too, they smell so gorgeous and the scent lasts for ages on skin. My kids love them as I have them in rhubarb and custard and choc and mint. I am not much for the choc and mint though as it is more minty than chocolatey. But the rhubarb and custard smells just like a sweet, I have to stop myself taking a lick of it when I wash!!

I use bar soap, Safeguard for my body and Dial foam for my hands. I like Jergens Original Lotion and Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Butter for my feet.

I have a pump bottle of soap by the kitchen sink that I use. For bathing, I use liquids or gels. My favorite is one from avon that smells like lavender. I use it before bed. Helps me to sleep. It is very relaxing.

I like scented liquid soap for the bath and anti bacterial soap for the sinks. We used bar soap as children, but I always felt that the soap left a 'film' on my skin. I didn't like it at all. I haven't used bar soap in years. i do take a bar with us camping and use it, but only because I am afraid the liquid might leak in our things.

I like my soap in a solid bar. I'm not into soap on a rope, never have been, but I guess I can see how some people could be as they may not want the soap to slip out of their hands, have it fall in the stall, then possibly slip on it, especially if it has happened to them before.

I like hand pump soap at the sinks and body wash gel or other gel soap in the shower. Bar soaps always get too slippery. xD

A long time ago we had a soap on the rope that someone gave us. it was nice to hang dry after using it. You didn't have that slimy stuff accumulate around the bar of soap when it sat in the soap dish. I prefer the bar soap though. Not dial, because I break out when I use dial. I like the zest or irish spring. it smells good.

i use mostly bar soaps. usually glycerine soap that smells of some fruit. but i also have the pump kind for the bathroom sink and kitchen sink. i guess those bars with a leash are for hanging in the shower or maybe to wash your back with.

I use the small liquid pump soap by the sink, and a nice bottle of body wash in the shower. Bar soap just doesn't make me feel clean.... so I don't bother with that, unless i'm washing my face.
