missing icons and toolbars

i was trying to log on to mylot.com on a friend@s pc only to find that the GO buttonin the internet explorer was missing and then the address bar also was no where to be found,i tried to get them back but did not succeed .anyone here who have an idea of what i can do to solve this problem?
