My son is the best thing that has ever happend to me. I must thank god for that for if it wasn't for my son I wouldn't be the person I am today. I love to see when I get the chance how well he does on things like school, playing and inter acting w/ other kids his own age. He is excellent w/ the computer. He's great at takeing things apart and puting them back together. He has a heart of gold and would help you in time of need if you needed him to. He knows what he wants to be when he grows up. He's smart as can be. I remember when his father and I would take him over to see the tractors the ones they use for construction and he would know every tractor by name. One day him and I were looking at the tractors and he was only 3 and he said " mom what's the name of this tractor?" I said " a bull dozer? " he laughed and said " no it's a escavator " I was so amazed for the company guy was standing right there when he said it. It just amazes me how well he does in everything he does. I am blessed w/ my son along w/ many of you others that have children. My life is now 100% now that I have him in my life. Treasure every moment.

Well I can pretty well relate to your post as I too have a son too. Actually my only one. he is six years old and I am pretty much fond of him. he is active but a very good and obedient boy. I am pretty much happy and contented seeing him grow a happy boy. I do hope that he continues to be like that in the near future.

Both my sons are now grown up and I echo your sentiment of 'treasure every moment'. We have laughed and cried together, shared good and bad times, encouraged and supported each other. My wish for them is to be happy - they so deserve it for the happiness they have brought into my life ;-D

My son is also grown up and I cannot agree with your "treasure every moment" comment more. It's incredible how quickly they grow up but it's also SO much fun to witness and live the different phases of life that they go through. I have so many memories of my son growing up and the thing that I cherish now more than anything, is the fact that he doesn't just view me as his father but as one of his best friends. Words can't really describe what a warm fuzzy feeling that I get inside knowing that. I'm lucky that he's grown into a responsible, intelligent young man that I am more proud of than I can explain. Although he lives hundreds of miles away and I don't get to see him that much any more, he's NEVER far away. Those of us in this situation know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

It's good to have those people that we love and treasure. But how unfortunate many of us put our hopes and aspirations to these people rather than to God who gave them to us. I believe we ought to give God our hopes and having Him as the best thing that has ever happened to us. If your son is taken by God from you, what will you do? Blame God for it? I hope we will change our mind and instead of putting all our hopes and admiration to the blessing (your son), but rather to the blesser (God). I hope you'll not be offended with my response. It's just my opinion.

I completely agree with you for it was god that gave me my son and I have thanked him many times over for giveing me my son. I couldn't have asked for a better gift from god. I do want to thank you for bringing this to my attention for I should have added that to my post. Thanks for the response take care. :)

I feel the same way about my sons. They have changed my life far more then I ever could have imagined. After my wife left us I had a hard time getting over it not to mention I had to boys to take care of and I was all on my own. I learned so much from them and was able to surpass my limitations as a home maker. Somehow I found the strenght to carry on and do what I needed to do to make sure that my sons would grow up with everything they needed to succeed in life. If it wasn't for them I can't say where I would have ended up.

You are such an awesome mom and your son is just so lucky to have you for a mom. This is an inspiration for me and I hope that someday I could be a real good parent and show my children good examples in life..

i have a child too, my one and only. my precious son. my wife had a lot of miscarriages before we hit the jackpot. he is two years old now. pictures appears as my avatar. your son sounds very intelligent. i am excited for my son to talk soon. as of now he can only say simple words. like didi (daddy) and mama and a lot more simple words. it sounds fun if you can communicate with your child already. i was so happy when me and wife finally got married but having a son completes it all.
