my top discussions over 50 responses

I think its all about the content in the discussions. I have been in the top and not had that many responses but they were all fairly long responses and usually lend to conversations between everyone.

Hello dear sophialin. I think that the key factors of a popular discussions are based on the following, A. you have got enough active friends who stay online in their spare time. B. it is supposed to be a discussion that the majority of people could be related to. C. it is somewhat an interesting discussions that could arouse mylotters' interest in choosing it to respond to. D. it is one that is not a sensitive discussion and will not cause mylotters' to have their mylot reputation drop later on. E. it is a discussion that is not seen to be against mylot guidelines. F. it is also one that people are willing to share with you their own experiences on the topic. To make a long story short, those are the major factors that I have observed since I became a resident here at mylot. Of course, there are more factors than what is listed above. I am expecting this discussion of yours to have more different ideas about the analysis to the topic. Thanks, sophialin.

My most responded discussion is only 23.. LOL ^_^ BUt i dun really mind if my discussions go unnoticed or it doesn't interest much ple.. What's more important is i enjoy being on mylot and i start and respond to discussions that interest me instead.. hehe

First of all I do not have until now all that luxury in having top discussions. I have only one discussion above 35. Its related to computers, Which do you prefer, laptop or desktop? I am hoping my discussions to be more intuitive from now. cheers! keep posting and have fun!

You done a good job, sophialin. Maybe to open a discussion with lot of response, the discussion had to be very universal where every mylotters can relate too. Like my thread: Can you suggest me making money online? I started that thread just to get 2 or 3 response and I got like 25. People here probably are expert in money online or at least had try that so they can relate to the topic I made.

Well, this is always nice when you have a discussion with this many responses back on it is it not. I know I have some with some high responses myself over 50, but it would take me a long while to find them since I have been a member here for over a yr. and a half. But it is always nice to see what others have to say to you is it not? All I can say is you never know which discussions will always yield you the most responses. Sometimes it is by the topic of discussion, and other times it could just be the time of day it is posted on here as well. Continued success to you here on myLot.

It seems like you always think alot when you post a discussion which is good yea . This is a good website for people to do research on survey for example , it saves a lot of time yea .

Any discussion which attracts people are more of online money making and discussion shoudl also be interestinga dn if it is interesting, then automatically resonses willflow ina nd income wil also will be generated automitically isnt it?

Good you have good responses, I dont have that much. In fact i opened it for discussion, how come others can have so many responses to think that their topics are not that discussable. I commented that it is because of the number of friends one has or what. Me, I dont invite members to be my friends for all mylotters are my friends, but I dont deny anyone who wanted to make friends with me. I tried catching title but still very few responses. I really dont know how but in due time I can have a catching title for most mylotters to comment.

Hi Sophialin! I am happy for you. I have seen you have very interesting topics and discussions. It is also very broad and that a lot of MyLotters could actually relate and respond to it. Actually, I have been here in MyLot for a little over 2 months. And though I am not really very active, I only have one discussion started that gained more than 50 responses. I think it depends on your subject matter. As you say you have picked discussions which people find it easy to respond to - they can either do a one line answer or more if they want to. I find that people who have a lot of friends here also get a lot of responses as their friends will automatically answer their discussions first. My discussions haven't had very good responses but that doesn't worry me in the least. I try to pick something different and perhaps because it is different then people haven't bothered to respond. I just think it is just as much fun to start discussions as it is to answer other people's discussions. i never have more than 50 responses in my discussions so far... so well done to you... i don't know why... that's why i am so discouraged to start a discussion now as i only receive very few response every time... i prefer just to answer people's discussion...
