I was talking to a friend of mine and she said something and I turned around and said touche. she said she hadn't heard that word in a long time. she didn't know anyone still used that word. Does anyone here on mylot still use it?? or when was the last time you used that word?? In case some of you don't know what it means here is the definition: Pronunciation: \tü-'sha\ used to acknowledge a hit in fencing or the success or appropriateness of an argument, an accusation, or a witty point

Yes its a rather common French Term. I have used it, and I understand the meaning. It is French, and is used in fencing. It means a hit. When used in English it means Ok," Back at you!" or, I'm returning your point! When someone tells a joke on you, and you turn the joke around so its on them, Then you can say," Touche!"

my hubby and I used to use that all the time when wewould conced the argument to the other person. It was a fun way to say I am sorry and you are right.
