I just watched this movie last night and its as bad as the blair witch project. Well at least with the blair witch project it had you thinking it could be real and the camera person would let you see somethings. If they would of done this movie a little differently then I think it would of been better. The guy who is playing in the movie is recording the whole movie with a hand held video camera which is suppose to be a documentary but we all know that this doesn't happen. If it would of been a normal camera person doing the filming where he would of caught more things then it wouldn't have been so bad. During the whole movie the guy hardly put down the camera to help his friends out. Then it ended very badly. I don't know how much money this film made but it couldn't have been much. If you haven't seen it don't worry your not missing much.

It made a lot of money in its opening weekend, and then tapered off. But it's been released n DVD now, and it is one of the top ones being rented and sold. It wasn't on a huge budget, so it probably has made some good money. I have seen neither the Blair Witch Project or Cloverfield. I heard great reviews about The Blair Witch Project, but I didn't hear such good things about Cloverfield. Apparently the marketing campaign really overhyped it and got people's expectations really high. I won't waste money on renting it though since you didn't enjoy it. It doesn't sound like I would either.

We have been thinking about renting it as we have not seen it yet. When I go to the movie store I was either going to get Cloverfield or I am Legend I will get I am Legend after your review of Cloverfield I will rent Cloverfield one of these days though just to see for myself how it is.

i watched Cloverfield earlier in the year. i know quite a number of people who enjoyed the movie though. for me, it was just so-so. not too great but it wasnt that bad either. i was pretty disappointed with the ending though. Was hoping that rob and beth would survive or something.

I have not seen it yet, but I was talking to my cousin the other day and she made a point to tell me about how terrible it was. Then I talked to another friend last week and he said he liked it. I don't know it doesn't seem like my kind of movie. The blair witch project was also pretty bad, but it made quite a bit of money, so maybe this one is bringing in lots of cash. Yeah if it is as bad as you say it is, I think I will just pass on renting that one.

Like the Blair Witch Project, I think it's the sort of film you'll either love or hate. There's supposed to be a sequel in the works, so it probably was at least reasonably successful.

You are absolutely right, I rented Cloverfield the other night thinking it was gonna be like Godzilla (mind you, I didn't mind that movie) but Clover field was such a retarded movie, The whole hand held Camera thing was so stupid. Sigh this may be a rant because I am writing this just after I watched that so called movie. I felt like reaching Through my T.V. and strangling the camera man, honestly I did, Anyhow what are the chances of that Video Camera getting smashed, Like how did it not get broken with all that havoc going around, and that ending, don't get me started on that lol Cloverfield is definitely one those movies that is such a letdown after seeing the previews, If you have not watched this Movie I advise you NOT to, for it is so very pointless, a complete waste of time.
