If you could gather all of the principal members of your governing bodies (i.e. Congress, the Senate, and the POTUS) and have the floor for 5 minutes or less to tell them one thing, or to speak on one issue that concerns you and your family, or your neighborhood, or even your city or state:
What issue would you choose and what would you say to them?
What approach would you take, allegorical, emotional appeal, factual, businesslike with charts and graphics, or just plain spoken direct approach?
Do you believe that it would make them think, emote, repair the problem, or do you think that they would care at all?

It seems that our politicians are so out of touch with the people that they are supposed to be representing that these social killers may come as a surprise to them. It wouldn't hurt to have your voice heard on these topics, but no it probably wouldn't move them either. Thank you for your response.
