hello mahesh,
great question!
i have tried to learn so many language in the past (though i dont know much of them now) like mandarin, nihongo, hindi, german, french, italian, portuguese and spanish. i dont know how to write them though except the japanese character that i tried long time ago.
anyway, with all this try outs i found out that the hardest for me to understand is TAMIL, i know it is just one of the dialects in India but i still consider it as one of the foreign language that i want to learn in the past.
it is definitely hard for me to understand and even just to pronounce it. just when i thought i can copy any words but that proves me wrong LOL.
btw, dont ask me if i remember any of the language i mention coz i can honestly say that i suck there now oh well!
takecare!

I saw a documentation once and they said that Icelandic is actually the most difficult language in the world. I would say the Asian languages would be very high up there on the list as well.
