Spending money wisely

Well, with the price of gasonline,food, etc. it is hard for a private employee to make enough to buy the necessaties and still save money. Most of the time, my money goes for bills too and nothing else. It is just part of life right now. I have always heard that you should take 10% of your check out as soon as you cash it and add it to a savings account for yourself. Sounds good, but harder than it sounds.
