Just out of curiosity, looking at your user name, did you graduate in 1996? If so...YAY! 1996 was a very good year.
Anyway, yeah...high school diplomas. I got mine in '96, then went to college three years later after trying--and not succeeding--at nursing school. I got my Bachelor's degree in General Studies in 2005, then went back to school after failing to find a decent job, graduated from there in 2009, still couldn't find a job, and am now back in the classroom.
I ought to be a freakin' genius by the time all of this is sad and done.

I didn't graduate. I dropped out at 16 due to some family issues. But I went back at 21 and took my GED tests. And I'm glad I did. I am now in college(a few years later:))working towards a Bachelors degree.
I agree high school is important. But for those that look back and realize they may have made some bad decisions, or life just wouldn't allow them to finish...don't worry, your future is not lost!!

I congradulate you on getting your GED and passing the tests. I can understand you dropping out of high school due to family problems but the fact you made the effort to go back and pick up the pieces is excellent and you should be proud of yourself for that. You have a lot laying ahead for you with you now working towards your bachelor's degree way to go. I wish you best of luck on that and may you have your dream come true. Thankyou for responding and take care. :)
