wrong bus

I would have freaked! Earlier this school year we had a subsitute driver and they drove right past the house, not dropping the kids off. I immediatly called them and they sent a short bus to meet the bus and bring the kids home. I assumed they'd be petrified from the whole ordeal, but they thought it was funny. Then a few weeks after that the driver dropped them off on the wrong side of the road so they had to cross in front of the bus, that actually petrified my daughter. All she talked about for the rest of the night was that the bus was going to run her over, which of course wasn't going to happen, but in a 5 year old's mind.... you know.

wow that's not a good sign for people to do such things.... but I'm glad things did work out :)

I hope someone gets in a lot of trouble. I know how scared you get. My son is in a wheelchair and cannot walk or talk, he was left on the bus in 1st grade. The bus driver took the bus back where they park them and went home. He was a half an hour late before they would even try to find out where he was. There was only 2 kids on the bus and he took one home and forgot to drop my son off. I am glad everything turned out good for you.

Seems to me that they wouldn't let her put kids on the buss any more. That is tramatic for a four year old especially. I know that they have designated people to assure that the children get on the right buss. I would be making a complaint and telling the administration that I didn't want that teacher dealing with my child.
