I has been a subject in Philippine Congress long before, the so called Cha-Cha or Charter Change. I am for the change in the government situation but i really cannot understand what is really best for this country. Some say let's remain to be in the Presidential form of government. Some say let's change it to Parliamentary. And some say, Federal system would be the best. If you have the power to change the form of government, which would you prefer?

I think any government system can have a lot of loopholes. So for me, the government system is not the problem, it is the people running the government. Some say these politicians want Charter Change only to give them more power. Which means they are not yet satisfied with the power that they already have. Pigs! To answer your question, which would I prefer? I would prefer our presidential system for the reason that I don't want to change it because changing it may allow a small number of people to acquire more power.

A lot of people, most of them are critics of the said move to change our government usually say it too, that it will only give more power to the current officials. I am not telling you that you are one of them. And you are right, it is the people running not the government system itself. Thanks...

Thanks for the best response. I hope our government officials would really put public interest in their hearts.
