The Green Bay Packers drafted two QB's in this years draft. Brian Brohm who is a highly graded QB was brought in to back up Aaron Rodgers. Matt Flynn was also drafted.
There had been talk of the Packers getting Culpepper and I guess that won't be happening.
It may takek all 3 QB's on the roster to replace Brett Favre.

1. To send a clear unmistakle message to Spoiled Baby Bret that the team was moving on without him. That even if Rodgers goes down, they have plenty of talent to call on without bringing his old butt back.
2. In case Rodgers get broken, they got a young back up ready to go.
3. In case Rodgers flames out, they got the qb of the future all ready.
The Packers are a well-run team. They know what they are doing.

I'm not surprised they got two QB's I'm surprised they got 2 rookie QB's.
I think Brohm is a good pick and I was looking for them to get a more experienced QB to add to the roster. A veteran that could help Brohm and Rodgers.
We'll see how it turns out. The Packers do have a talented team that's why it will be important for the QB to play well so they can return to the playoffs.

I think the other guy is an insurance policy in case they break Brohm in training camp. He does have a history of soft tissue injuries. I am pretty sure they signed a veteran back up in the off season. So, the two rookies would be battling it out for the 3rd spot. A little competition is good for a guy, gets him motivated after he signs that multi-million contract.
