Scientists seeks 150 women to eat chocolate for a year Research will test whether compound in cocoa reduces heart disease risk Belgian chocolatier has created a special bar for the experiment Postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes considered a high risk group The trial, at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, eastern England, will test whether a natural compound found in cocoa, the main ingredient of chocolate, could cut the risk of heart disease among women with diabetes. Who would be willing to do this? I might, but then I may never eat chocolate again..lol

It does not sound like a job for me. Aside from the fact that I do not meet the requirements for the study, I am not a big chocolate eater. It does sound like it could be a dream job for some women though.

Forced to eat fine Belgian chocolate for a year in the interest of science. I don't think you'll have a great shortage of volunteers for that study. I have heard about studies linking chocolate with heart health before, I wonder what special about this study? ... "For this first clinical trial of its kind, the researchers are looking for postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes to eat specially formulated chocolate bars for a year." ...(1) I'm thinking the novel part of the study would be postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes. Yes, specifically dark chocolate.(2) WebMD has an short article about it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes: 1) Volunteers Needed For Chocolate Study - ( http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/105586.php ) 2) WebMD: Dark Chocolate Has Health Benefits Not Seen in Other Varieties - ( http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20030827/dark-chocolate-is-healthy-chocolate ) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looks like a good job to enroll in as I am sure that many people are addicted to chocolate. I am diabetic myself as I have enjoyed numerous bars of chocolate in my time. Have a agreat day from Deeeky.
