I remember having nail polish that peeled off, I think it was called "BOPO" for "brush on, peel off". I am sure it must've been non-toxic, but I'm not sure if it is good for a 2 year old because they might just peel it off and eat it. I almost think regular polish might be better. I would check at Toys R Us and see if they still make something like that.

They do make non-toxic nail polish for kids. Look with the toy or play makeup. I think there is one nail polish that will even peel off or chip. I couldn't tell you what kind it is. I don't have a girl, so I never have to think about these things. :)

Humm...I have literally been painting my 3 yr olds toe nails since she was born and I have never had any trouble. Did my 12 yr old the same way and no problems with her either. Great question though :)

Hey girl, I bought my grandaughter some for Christmas that was for children and it was safe and non toxic. I got it at walmarts. Check toy section in the play make-up and stuff.
