Mylot: I earned over $1 today.... AGAIN!!!

Goodness I love mylot.. I get paid just for having fun chatting.
Once again I earned over $1 yesterday ($1.10 to be exact). I've been a member for about seven weeks and this is the second time I've earned over $1. My usual is $0.50 - $0.75... and I really don't spend all that much time on here.
I must admit that my two active referrals helps since I usually earn about $0.25 per day from their efforts... just wish I could find a good way to get more of them.
What have your biggest earnings on mylot been for one day?
Approximately how many discussions did you contribute to for those earnings? (If you can remember, I know it can be hard since you're just having fun anyway)
Have you reached payout for april yet? I have... total earnings over $22.

Good job. Well done Jewel. I made the $1+ mark a few times. I have one referral but she is not active at the mo. I never earned much from her as she finds this a bit of a drag so never did much. I am a bit over the $20 mark mainly of my own effort so I am very proud of myself.
I went pretty close to the $2 mark on Monday and that is the most postings I have ever done in the 1+ month since I have been active. I made a bit less than fity post I think. It is fun been hear. The discussions are good and the challenge of getting the earning figures up are also very good. I have not been on here as frequent but I try to do a little as soon as I can for as long as I can.

As I flexed my muscles around here and tried to work out the best way to earn and post I found that if I made 20+ good responses (in terms of quality and length) I would go over the $1 mark. I find this beneficial instead of making a lot of comments and posting discussions.
Posting a discussion which reels in responses is also very good but i am not a master of that so i do quite a bit of commenting instead. Hope you find this beneficial. (lol)

I've actually managed to post a few discussions that get a goodly number of responses. Anything to do with mylot earnings seems to do well.
The other thing that does well is simple questions like 'what kind of internet connection do you have?' It's something that people can answer without having to read other responses so it's nice and quick etc. Admittedly, responses to questions like that ten to be short but you get plenty of them.
I've got a whole bunch of discussions that have anywhere between 20-60 responses just from questions like that.
Oddly enough, the one post I made that had absolutely NO responses had to do with my favourite dog as I was growing up... I think it was a little too long for people to be bothered reading.

Thank you. I don't always have time to get on here that much (especially the days I work which is wed-sat)
It surprised me yesterday though, I earned 57 cents in personal earning without making a single response... that was just from responses to my topics.
I'm not sure which way to go though, should I post more topics and let my earnings grow that way... the only problem there is that I always like to respond to everyone who responds to my discussions. Just to let them know I appreciate their response. Of course, doing that takes away from the time that I can spend making new topics.
I also want to get my post count up so that I don't constantly have to manually type everything in... in particular URLs since it's a pain flicking through windows trying to type it in.

34momma - i'm sure trying to be that for you - and i REALLY hope to add some like me (or better than me, would be better LOL)
it's a little tough selling people on the concept of getting paid for things you do on-line anyway - to me that's just a no-brainer.
i just keep plugging away, regardless, and hope that they finally get it!
one of my prospects asked if that's why i'm here ($) - and i said that it got my interests up, but i'd do it anyway - so many things i like to discuss - and it's all right here!

i is really nice to know if you earn more than $1 a day. Like me i felt very happy. My highest earnings in 1 day was $1.60 plus $0.23 so a total of $1.83 in 1 day. i am amaze of my earnings that day. i posted about 70 comments and 3 discussions. I got 10 times earnings more than $1. I am qualified for April payout. This is my second payout since I started mylot. I spend almost 3 months on this site. I reached more than on the second choice of minimum payout.

Wow, that's impressive earnings julyteen... one of these days you'll hit the $2 mark.
It'd be really great to hit the $2 mark every day... just think, you'd be earning about $60 a month minimum.
Of course, you would need a few referrals to do that.

I am very depressed.
Last monty i only made 159 cents,i have two refferals but they aren't active and they haven't brought earning for me.
I send discussion and respond other people's posts very many.
My work differs so much as to be beyond comparison with my earning,i am depressed!

I understand. Some days I work my butt off and only earn $0.50. It can be a little disappointing.
I think it depends too on how much mylot has earned in that day. Slow days their earnings would be lower. On the weekend it would be higher.
All I can suggest is that you post pictures with your new discussions, make sure the length of your posts is good and that it gives good information.

Well, this is my first payout so I don't have any personal experience with it.
But I haven't heard anything to indicate that mylot don't pay... quite the opposite actually.

Oh that is just so awesome and I would really enjoy having my time here at mylot because I've noticed that it has been really working so nice. I hope that I would be like you sooner or later because that would really be great. Please tell me some of your secrets to success. I would really love to here it from you and how to get some referrals just like what you are doing. By the way, How much time do you spend on mylot per day? and how many posts do you publish?? more blessings. ^_^

Good for you to earn over $1. Is it not Fun knowing that you have done this. Yes, I Love myLot at well. That is why I have been an active member here for over a yr. and a half, and met many wonderful people, and learned a lot from here as well.
Right now, I have no active referrals. I have had some at one time or another, but none of mine are Active on here anymore. I have earned over $12 so far this month here. I have made almost $3 of it just in the last 2 days. I have a really Bad sore throat, and laryngitis so I have to put down my feelings some way besides typing. So I check Email or come here. Here at least I can talk about things I am interested in.

wow thats a really good earnings. i dont think i have ever reached that much on my daily earnings. the most i earned in a day is 70 cents. i dont know how i can boost it up.

Just spend as much time as you can in here enjoying yourself.
I find it really helps if I post long responses too.
Finding a topic that allows you to do long responses can be fun in itself.

I made $1.41 yesterday! I will admit I have been working hard though as I am trying really hard to make my goal of 3000 posts by May 1st. I don't have any referals so I make everything taht I make all on my own. I have been averaging about .50 a day. Happy mylotting.

Well, I have never done above $1 in mylot yet but my maxiumum was close to that. it was 89c but now it shows it as 87 cents maybe a few discussions which I responsed were deleted and my earnings should be effected by that kind of an issue.
In that day I had answered about 20 discussions I think. But I tried to keep my contributions quality. Didn't really try to reach 100 posts in a day but I worked hard to make my stuff readable and useful for the others. In addition, as it says in the discussion window: "Please be as descriptive as possible". It is what I had done :)
However, even responding 20 discussions was a great issue for me and now I don't have that much time most of the days. but it is still not very hard to make about 20 cents everday. IN addition, you are lucky to get some active referrals here really. I wish I had a few of them :)

Yes, I do like to try and make long responses when I have the time.
I don't worry so much about it when responding to people who have responded to my dicussions. I like them to feel important and know that I appreciate their responses so I always reply... eventually anyway.
Some days I actually make over 20 cents just from my referrals so that is great.

I think you actually need to get a few referrals judging by the number of referrals I have that are NOT active.
Maybe they will become active at a later date. Anyway, it's a lot of fun all the same.

wow its good to here that u have already earned $22 despite the fact that u only have 333 posts or discussions, me as of now i only have $1.56, and i already have 256 discussions. can u tell me tips or suggestions how to earn the minimum payout.. well its good to hear that you are enjoying posting here while earning...keep posting....good luck

As I said in the previous response, 333 is only the number of different discussions I have contributed to... my actual post count would be more like 1000. I've also earned about $5 from referrals.
Okay, how to increase earnings.
1. Post quality responses. The more information the more you earn... make it long!
2. Post new topics. You get paid for every response you receive.
3. Attach photo to your topics - make sure you own the copyright, can't just use a photo of the net.
4. Refer other users - They're often inactive but sooner or later you'll refer an active one.

That's for sure. I have six referrals though only two of them are active. They've both been here about four weeks and I've earned about $5 off them.
One of them is VERY active and has already passed me and broken the 500 post barrier.. they started out slower then just took off

I totally agree with you that mylot is definitely addictive and mesmerizing, ha! Fancy using such a word as mesmerized. I think that's true because once I look at this screen, I tend to forget about anything else and just this screen. I sometimes tend to neglect my work too and it's getting a bit to me.
I have missed my April earnings by 1 or 2 cents, blimey! But the best part is to know that I'm well overflowed with earnings now and I'm really dying to wait for May's payout. See you...:)-

Congratulations mate.
Mytotal earnings are 12.17$ and i joined Mylot at 8th april and i reach at my payout at 22 april. I did average 50 posts per day when i was not at my payout target. And i made 1$ 3 times. 1.01$' 1.10$ and 1.36$.
Now i am relaxed and not doing hard work. But i will work hard to achieve my target of 25$ per month.

I'd be surprised if I didn't hit the dollar mark today though... I've had about 100 responses to my discussions... and I've responded to every one.
That's not including the responses I've made to other peoples discussions.
So I might just have a new record to report tomorrow
