I was just listening to the news this evening and heard about a case here in Southern California where a father was holding his daughter prisoner in his cellar for the last 24 years. He told people that she had abandoned her kids with him and played the long suffering grandparent role. The truth is her kids were also his kids. He sired 7 children with her. They found her because one of the children became severely ill and his grandfather/father dropped the child off at the hospital. T he child had a letter on him from his mother begging someone to come and rescue her!
How could he do that? How is she possibly going to heal from this and go on to live any kind of a normal life after this? What would make a parent do something like that to not only their children but their grandchildren as well? Further proof that our world is loosing it's cotton picking mind!

It is a pretty disgusting thing, it's actually the second case in a few years that happened like that in Austria. Although the first case was a girl that was abducted by a stranger and held captive for 8 years and escaped. She was also held in a cellar.. makes you wonder what in the world is going on. I included links to both articles in case you wanted to see them
