Can't believe it's been almost a year since I last posted here, just thought I would come and say hi to all of those who have still kept me as their "friends", thanks I appreciate it. So tell me what you've been up to and how your lives have changed since I've been gone, most of you are still here posting away I see. Me? well I've had some health issues and now through complications have some more health issues which are going to put me in hospital again this year, but still smiling and still happy, still living in the same place and still running my business, although it looks like i'm going to have to put that on hold whilst i recover. I'm now doing some part time work in the NHS in forensic psychiatry.. amazingly interesting. My 18 years old daughter has moved out now, so here with my cats and computer to keep me company! Anyway, let me know how you all are and what's been happening in your lives and on mylot.. Brightest Blessings

Well, I dont know you and you dont now me either. I dont think we're myLot 'friends' either but I just wanna greet you a very happy myLot anniversary!! I cant believe you've been here that long. Do you still enjoy coming and posting here or has it just become one of your daily/weekly routines? Im sorry about your hospital trips, I really do hope you get enough rest and recover. Oh! forensic psychiatry!I wanted to learn that, well, at least learn something about it since im quite interested in things like that. Also, I was just wondering is it really compulsary for all or most 18 year olds to move out and be on their own there?Have you watched the movie 'Failure to Launch'?Do most parents there feel that their children should be on their own at 18 or is it the child/ren's decision to finally move out? Im just curious because here, most parents dont want to let their children go.

Hi, thanks for your best wishes, It's not compulsory for 18 year olds to move out here, mine just wanted her independence , we haven't fell out or anything, in fact I probably see more of her now than when she lived here!! I didn't want her to go either, but there's very little you can do when they are at that age! Anyway looking on the brighter side I now have a spare room to turn into a walk in wardrobe hehe!

Hiya hun welcome back, I missed you. I'm glad to hear that you are still fighting back and your job sounds great. I took a bit of a break and returned to MyLot about 4 weeks ago, having taken a break of about three months to get some issues in my life sorted out. Now things are beginning to settle down again and I am happy to be back here.

Hi! Glad to see you are still here too! It's nice to be back amongst friends! I'm glad things have settled down for you too, I'm back to a happy medium too now, just got to wait three months (ha! NHS more like thirteen!) to be operated on again! Thanks for your support!
