Today my teache gave me a topic about NUTURE and NATURE, she asked us to discuss it, most of my classmates think nurture is more important than nature, but there are still some people think nature is more important. In my opinion nature is important, but we can not develop without nurture. I think nature just like a seed, and it is a beautiful seed, but it is weak, if you want to it become more beautiful and powerful, you have to give air, water, and sunshine to her, let her grow up to be a big tree. Well, what is air, water, and sunshine? the answer is NURTURE. Nurture just like air water and sunshine. if we want to become more intelligent and more powerful, the way is that get air water and sunshine. we heve to get nurture if we want to develop continual. This is my opinion, what is your opinion? do you agree or disagree with me, just write it down and we can share it.

Nurture is very important, but nature is the building blocks. Nature, for example, determines how your brain chemistry works. You could release more endorphines than most people, making you happier and more easily satisfied. At the same time, you may have had an incident in your childhood that caused you to have psychotic breakdowns and deep depression. So nature provides the building blocks, nurture can change the function and decoration of those blocks in my opinion. Dan

This debate has been on forever. And just like most debates, people fail to see the positive qualities of both sides. I don't think one os more influential than the other. They both have a tremendous amount of impact on a persons life. But none-the-less, you are born with a preset number of chormosomes, genes, and DNA so nature cannot be discredited one bit. Two very similar poeple can grow up in two completely different homes, and like wise two extremely different people could have grown up in the same home. So I think nature has a little more pull in the area of development.
