Life after death: Is it really a passing into the light?

I have read a few books of people describing their after-death experience. They all passed through a tunel and saw the "light", been travelling without the sense of space and time, had the same figure/shape/body/face only spiritually and not physically and all had a nice feeling about the place the were, and the things they saw. Only that they came back to this life, because either they were not ready yet to go to this world, or they had some unfinished business here to manage. What do you think about all these?
