question about the stars

i was just wondering about the stars and rankings...how is it that you get your stars to go up? i mean i have heard before that the only way that they can go up is if someone rates you a positive or something like that...so i was just wondering if that is true or if anyone else had found a way to make them go up....and another thing i was wondering does the stars determine how much money you can make...like if you have a higher one you might get paid a little more per discussion?

Hello jhl. I don't think that the star ratings have anything to do with the earnings, but the quality discussions and responses that you have made. The best way to make a star rating increase is to offer a good response with good quality, I guess. Thanks.

I think your star number will go up if your responses get positive ratings and it probably helps if you can get some best responses too. I think it helps if you have a lot of myLot friends. Otherwise just make good quality discussion posts so other people can give them a positive rating.
I don't think it matters much what your star rating is. Some people say it makes no difference to their earnings.
