Definately not. Never would it be worth it. There are lot's of alternative methods to get around, taxi, other friends, busses, trains, etc. Ijust can not believe that there are people out there who do see fit to drive and carry passengers when they are not insures. What a senseless thing to do and shows how little they value human life....

Hmmmmm thats something to really think about. Well for one i dont think that there are too many people asking that question now a days. I mean if a person needs a ride or just riding with a friend for leisurly activity. I doubt they are going to be asking the driver if they are insured or not. Thats just not the question of the day. But it is something that needs to watche dout for. For the simple fact that there are so may motorist out here that are not insured. And its starting to become a risk factor if you ask me. People are taking more and more risks like these everyday. Hmmmph it really has opened my eyes. Maybe the nest time i am in the car with someone i will just hint around the subject of car insurance..."So who do you have car insurance with"....LOL!!

I would definitely NOT get into a car if I knew that the person driving had no insurance on it! Accidents happen every day, even to good drivers. If I was in an accident with an uninsured driver and got hurt, there would be no insurance to cover any injuries sustained. This happened to somebody else I know, and they had medical insurance, but their insurance wouldn't pay and they said they had to sue the uninsured driver for the hospitilization, Dr's, expenses, & etc. Anyone without insurance is showing total disregard for the law, and Ohio law requires you to have insurance, even if it's bare minimum. On new cars, or cars with loans, you have to have full coverage. I think anyone who drives without any coverage at all is taking a chance, all it takes is one accident and they'd be paying for everything out of their own pocket for the rest of their lives!

I have never met anyone not insured here in Quebec, because the government provides no fault insurance and you have no choice you have to get it. The only choice you have is whether or not you want full coverage or partial coverage, partial is when you are insured only if you hit somebody, full coverage, it doesn't matter whom hits whom, you are automatically covered.

Here in Australia, we have what is called Compulsory Third Party Insurance and is part of our vehicle registration fee. I would not get in a car that was not registered because the person who owns the car would obviously have no regard for what our laws are. There have been times in the past when we have struggle to get the money together to get the rego renewed, and have spent some time driving unregistered, but my partner is a very good driver and the only accidents he has been involved in have been because of other road users. Now though, we find ways of getting the money together by cutting down on other areas of spending or from his paypal account.
