Mashed Potatoes

Ketchup in them is good

I like the real ones crushed, there is a difference! A lot of times,that's how I eat my baked potato, I crush it, and put stuffings on it and eat it like that!

My favorite way is with chives or green onions. We had mashed potatoes for supper tonight and my husband showed me a new one that I don't think I will be trying. He got a bowl of potatoes and then put a hard boiled egg on top and mashed it down. When I commented him on it he said 'What you never heard of potato salad?' He got me there!

I love to make them with ranch dressing and also add sour cream to them. Then I sprinkle bacon bits on top.

Mashed potatoes with gravy, I didnt know there was any other way.

i like real potaotes but most ofthe time i use instant. but i fix min with milk and butter and salt and pepper. And that is how i eat them but my hubby likes them with gravy or soemthing like that.

I love mashed potatoes with gravy, but I also like them with cheese in and mustard. I just mix cheese into the mash with a dollop of wholegrain mustard and then stick it in the oven to melt. I love proper mash made from fresh potatos but I also like that smash that is pretty nice for potato flakes.

I love real mashed potatoes, although I don't always have time for that. If I'm in a big hurry I go with instant. I always use salt and butter, and let everyone else pepper them to their own taste, as I don't care for pepper that much. Gravy is always good, but I can eat them with just salt. Sometimes I get a craving for onions or ranch dressing and sour cream. Usually when I'm craving sour cream and ranch I just go with a baked potato.

In the past I ate them buttery and plain. Plain meaning no extra spices of any kind. Although, now I'm into eating them with curry powder. So, that's basically how I prefer them now, lol.

Never ever instant for starters. And do you know what I think's nice - adding grated cheese intot eh pan after they've been mashed and stirring it in. Yummy yummy melted cheese mash :)

Well you can look at my waistline and tell any kind of potato is good any way almost. Want some good mashed potatoes?? Cook real ones mash them and mix some sour cream in it. BTW having steak and baked potato w/sour cream and butter for supper. Gonna grill at JIFD.
