Some things I noticed on the Finale...

So, here are some things I noticed while watching the finale of BB and in some of the interviews afterwards. Did anyone else wonder if Adam may have been told that he was fired from his job courtesy of United Autism and that is why he told them that he would be giving a portion of his winnings to them? Sort of a way to smooth things over with cash? Was anyone else a little annoyed that we didn't get to see Neil? He was there longer than Jacob so, I feel like he should have been there. In the Early Show interview with Adam and Ryan, Julie handed the boys their checks and reminded them that they need to pay taxes on it and that idiot Ryan said "I thought Big Brother did that." What an idiot! Seriously? You lived for free in a house for 3 months. Had everything taken care of for you, got a stipend and another $10k and you think that Big Brother is supposed to pay your taxes too? WTF? Idiot! That is all I can think of right now but, I am pretty sure there were more things. So, if I remember more, I will either open another discussion or I will include them in my responses to your responses!

I think that came about to sway the votes more his way so he kinda paid for his votes. I heard there was some emergency that kept Neil away but he was invited. Oh I thought that was so funny I mean really did you think it was tax free im hoping it was just a joke gone bad. Its funny how annoying these people are yet we still cant get enough.

You could be right I thought he said that at the juror questing but I could be wrong. From what I heard with Neil when he left the show that is still why he wasnt at the finale too but it is very secrative as to what happened.

I am actually referring to after he was announced as the winner and they were all standing up at the very end of the show just before they signed off for the season. Julie told Adam that he had to do something good with the money and he said he was going to be giving a donation from it to Autism United. At that point, he had already been announced as the winner. Then, I think during the commercial break just before the end of the show, either CBS or Julie told him he had been fired and probably told him to make ammends by promising some money to the very organization that got him fired. I didn't hear that about Neil. But, I am glad to hear that it wasn't because CBS told him he couldn't come. Of course, it would have been nice for them to at least acknowledge that he couldn't make it instead of making all of us wonder. Ryan, Ryan, Ryan. LOL! I just don't think he is funny enough to even make a joke gone bad! LOL! And, you are right. These people are very annoying but, we can't get enough of them. Maybe except for my Mom. She is so disgusted by them that she may not tune into the summer season. Of course, she says that every year so, we'll have to see. LOL!

I doubt Adam was told that he was fired since they know nothing about the outside of the house, and even if he was, I firmly believe he had planned to give winnings to the kids regardless. He may have made the comment, but I really believe he cares about his job and those kids. I'm annoyed that they never really said why Neil left so suddenly. Maybe he didn't want to come. I'm sure CBS tried to get him there. Haha about the taxes, but dumb that she brought it up anyway. 50k isn't much after taxes :-D I never watch the early show so I didn't see that.

I think CBS probably did tell him during the commercial break. I think CBS probably did know about his job because I am willing to bet that CBS and his job had a lot of conversations right after that and, if Mortystv.com and sites like TMZ and Perez Hilton knew about him getting fired, CBS knew too. They know a lot about the stuff that goes on outside of the house. The hgs don't but, CBS is very aware of the hgs outside world. And, in watching the rap party interviews for CBS's Big Brother site on CBS.com with Gretchen Massey and CBS2.com, the hgs are debriefed immediately afterwards as Joshua mentioned during his interviews for the two sites. He mentioned it to both interviewers that he learned about some stuff that was floating around that might have smudged his reputation and he said he just learned it during his "debriefing". So, I do think that they CBS gave Adam and Matt both a quick little bit of info as it may pertain to them and they probably told Adam that it would go a long way with United Autism if he sucked up a little with a cash apology. I wish that we could know what happened with Neil's family. Maybe he will be given another chance on another season of BB. That would be nice. I would love to see what he was about. I still can't believe that Ryan was thinking he would get all $50k. Duh! Did he learn nothing from what's his name, Richard maybe, when he tried to cheat the tax man after he won Survivor? Another CBS show right? How could he not know that the winnings have to be taxed? Was he under a rock during that entire debacle with Richard or whatever his name was from Survivor? Idiot! LOL!

I do think they told Adam about the job, but not until the game was over. I thought you siad above that he knew about it before saying he was going to give money to autism, which I say he did not know then b/c he was still in the house at the time. Sure they probably tell them everything once they are out of the house, but I sure hope they don't tell anything while they are still in the house b/c that would ruin the integrity of the game.

That is too funny- Ryan thought they BB took care of the taxes- Maybe he meant-- that they took them out of the check already- But obviously they didn't right- if he got a check that was for $50,000. Sometimes people just do not think. I'm lost- Did Adam work for the United Autism (if that is a place)? Why would he have lost his job?? for being off so long? I'm sure he won't need to go back anyway- Usually the winners go on to Bigger and better things- He could do public speaking or something- lol.... I'm sure some people would find him fascinating. I think he was true to his word that he would donate some to help out kids- He seemed like that type of guy. I bet he even donates some to Sheila!

Ryan is a moron! LOL! As for Adam, in the beginning of the season he called Autistic children "retards". There was the usual storm of controversy afterwards. He worked with autistic children in his place of employment but Autism United, which was not where he worked, was so angered by what he said that he bothered his job and CBS to do something about what he had said and his job obliged by firing him. A fact which he couldn't and didn't know until he got out of the house. So, that is why I think that Julie told him that he had gotten fired from his job, during commercial break, courtesy of Autism United and I think that is why he chose them specifically to give some charity money to. As far as giving money to Sheila, it is in the BB handbook when they sign on to do the show that they are not allowed to share their winnings with one another. They may buy each other gifts if they so chose but, the winnings are not to change hands in the form of cash or even a cash equivalent like a check or money order. It is forbidden for Adam to give Sheila any of his $500k.

I wonder if Adam said that he would give a portion thinking he was fired. Or what if he didnt know he was fired and offered the money anyways? I was annoyed that neil wasnt there. I wonder why? And Ryan, what an idiot LOL. I cant believe he would think he would get all that money and extra for taxes? Omg, wow!

See, I think it is too much of a coincidence that he promised to give money specifically to Autism United who was the exact company that caused a stink about what he said in the first place, ultimately getting him fired. There have to be a lot more Autism charities out there and, I can't believe that he just picked that one from the air. I really think that CBS informed him and told him to take care of business right away. I really wish that Neil was there but, now I hope that CBS gives him another chance on one of their next BBs to try it again without having to leave for familial issues. Ryan is a moron. How did he not know that he has to pay taxes on that money? Seriously...Richard, or whatever his name was from Survivor, got into trouble for not paying his taxes from his winnings. What...they just suddenly decided to not tax winnings now? What an idiot! LOL!
