Mother's Day is around the corner

I took my Mom out to eat a week before Mother's Day weekend. It saves on the stress of trying to plan something for the actual day of Mother's Day. Turned out wise as I was sick on Mother's day and didn't really feel like doing anything except sleeping.

I thought that maybe my sister and brothers and I who live close enough could take my mom to lunch on Mother's Day. We do not have anything planned yet though.

Well I am going to give her some flowers. I just ordered them today and hopefully she gets them. I've added a picture of them below. They are so gorgeous. I can't wait but the problem is that they are going to deliver two days early because they are already booked for saturday and sunday. So I dont think I can hide because we live together and she's not working right now. So I guess Mother's Day is going to be early for her this year.

I'm going to have my son make my mom a card, and I think I'll get her some flowers again. She loves flowers and gardening, so usually I go to the nursery and pick out a couple of things I think she'll like. She also loves to sew and craft things, so I may get her a craft-store gift card too. Sometimes my sister and I go in together to get her something, so we may do that again. I haven't really thought about til now. Thanks for reminding me! It's my sister's first Mother's Day, so I'll have to do something really special for her. I have a great idea, but she's a very active member on myLot, so I can't tell you what it is!

My mother also lives very far away from me. I'm just gonna send her an e-card and that's it. Not sure what i could get her anyway.

More than likely we will take my mum out for a meal,she enjoys that,and its a treat for her.We usually buy her a little something as well,she loves a bunch of flowers,and she deserves them,she is great.

well my mom has everything that she needs so it is hard to know what to get her...i usually end up getting her flowers for her garden or a hanging plant and for my mother in law, her birthday is right after, so she gets a combo present!

I will be going to her house for mothers day maybe take her lunch and I have bought her a mothers day present it is something she has been wanting it is a claddagh ring with a heart that is made from connemara marble handcrafted in Ireland. I think she will love it.
