Which do you prefer...Walmart or Target?

I have both right across the street from each other. I tend to go to Walmart more often- but now that I think about it, it is mainly because it is a super Walmart and it is where I shop for groceries. I prefer the atmosphere at Target, and I prefer their home decorating stuff- it's nicer I think. I don't know about prices...I guess I go to Target when I am looking for something specific (like when I needed a new dish drainer a couple of weeks ago...who knew that would be such an ordeal and span three stores and two trips back to two of them...?)
Anyway, how about you- do you have both stores available to you, which one do you prefer and why?

Is there much difference between the two of them??

I believe you do have Walmart there but it's called Asda instead. I'll have to double check that.
As for me, we have a Super Target and I like shopping there rather than Walmart. It's not as crowded and I have noticed that some of their prices are cheaper than Wally World.

I prefer Wal-Mart. Mainly because it is closer and there seems to be more around in my area than Target's. Plus there are a couple of Wal-Mart Supercenters that I go to. I love the convenience of being able to get everything I need at one store.

Target is nice, I like a lot fo their stuff better than wal-mart's but it is so much farther away than wal-mart is and with gas prices the way they are I hate to make the trip across town if I don't have to.

I prefer Target. It seems everytime I go to Wal-Mart, I always run into a rude employee, the bathrooms are almost never clean, and many of the aisles are in disarray. Besides that, Wal-Mart's clothes are, admittedly, cheaper, but they don't stand up as well and I'd rather spend a little more on clothes that I can wear for a long time than a little money on a lot of clothes that I will have to replace in a few months.
I don't shop at either one of them that often, though.

I go to Walmart more because it is two miles from my house. Target is across town and makes it hard to visit the store often. I find that I like the prices for the most part at Walmart and I can get more shopping done there since it is a superstore.
With the price of gasoline right now, I won't be making any extra trips across town!
I agree with you about the atmosphere. It seems to be nicer at Target. I don't care too much for their clothes there though. They seemed very cheap in quality to me.

I like Walmart better, but target isn't too bad either. If Walmart would just stop rearranging things, life would be much easier. I tend to find the layout of Target better and more clearly marked than that of Walmart though. But, these are just my honest opinions!

I have access to both stores, but I like Walmart best because they generally have low prices constantly. Target, if you catch them right tend to have really good sales if you know what day to go and look well. Yes, Target tends to be cleaner and more well organized, but I can get a lot of cheap things at Walmart.

It depends on what I am buying. I would rather buy clothes, shoes, purses, etc from Target. But when it comes to household needs, I would choose wal-mart, they usually have the best prices, and you can go to one place and get everything you need! =)
I agree with you, if it is one or two things I need or want, I'd go to Target, too!

I like going to both for different reasons. Target always seems nicer and much cleaner. I like to clearance shop at both stores. It all depends on what you are shopping for when it comes to price I realized. Sometimes what I want is cheaper at Target and sometimes at Walmart.
We don't have a SuperCenter Walmart or Target where I live now. We had a bunch of SuperCenter Walmarts in Mississippi but no Target at all.
I wish we had one here because all of our stores close at 10 and 11 pm. I hate that nothing stays open 24 hours here in New Jersey.

Some areas don't have a choice. I prefer Target. We have both relatively close to us. Mainly we use Target. It has the better reputation so far. I am comfortable with that.

We always go to Walmart. Before I got married to hubby I shopped Target quite a bit, but he hates Target. It's close to the mall and he hates going all the way into town and all the traffic. Also, we just got a new SuperWalmart, about 10 miles to the east of us, but he prefers the old regular Walmart, which is 5 miles to the West. For groceries, he insists on Safeway. Personally I think Walmart has better deals on some things, especially if you catch them on sale.

Target has the best commercials so you should go there.
Kidding, I like Targets home decorating stuff too. They have such bright colors and a large variety. I have never shopped for food there though. The other day I wanted to get a few food items and my daughter said they were probably expensive. She didn't even want to go to see.
But I don't see why we can't just shop at both, do you?
