The symptoms that go along with fibromyagia are numerous and annoying. And for the most part if it exists I have it. What symptoms do you have with your fibro and which do you find the hardest to deal with? For the the most difficult to deal with is the TMJ. My jaw is always popping and achey. That is definately the hardest. The second hardest is the constant stomach pain from my digestive issues that are also, apparently, associated with the fibro.

You are right they are numerous and annoying. The list of them is very long and I'm constantly learning new things that are part of the list. I didn't know TMJ was one of them actually. For me what is hardest to deal with is the pain I get with my skin across my upper back, arms and chest. It almost feels like my skin is burnt all the way down to the bone. Just having a shirt touch it hurts let alone anything else. Even leaning back in a chair hurts. It's aggravating and frustrating; overall a royal pain

Yes, the TMJ is bad. I had it for years, but of course it took a long time to be diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Of course I had doctors tell me fibromyalgia didn't exist. Well, they weren't my doctors for long! Anyway, another problem are the knots in my shoulders and back. They are so painful! If I could afford a massage every day it might help, but who can afford to do that? Also the fatigue sometimes seems to overwhelm me.

Oh i do know what you mean about those knots. I have them something horrible. My niece won't even rub them, she says they are too hard . I told her to try them from my side. I would love to have a massage just once a month, that to me would do a world of good.

My mom and I try to massage each other's shoulders because we both have it, but it just isn't the same.

I was diagnosed with Fibro in 1999. I have dealt with this condition all my life. As I got closer to 30, I started to get worse. Now I can't work anymore, and can't seem to get disability to approve me either. The worst part for me is the pain in my lower back, hips and legs. My body feels like it is bruised all the time. My neck and shoulders are always tight and aching. I have been on tons of medications and none of them seem to work very well. I am now on Pain Meds, Muscle Relaxers and inflammatory medicine, just to be able to sleep and barely function.

the weather affects my fibromyalgia for example, very cold, humid, rainy, hot, my legs ache alot as i also suffer from sciatica. rib pain fingers, neck shoulder butt pain. if i am in one position as on couch for a long time i get pain for lying there that way. in the recliner i have my legs up and down trying to become comfortable, here on the web i have a pillow in my back --legs up on hassock. i am always tired with dark circles under my eyes. when i have a colonoscopy or xray i am very sore from those procedures it takes me longer to recover from the colonoscopy test as well

I'm the same way. If I stay in one position too long I start to hurt. I have a lot of trouble with my feet. Wearing shoes hurts. But I have to wear shoes to work. I wear sandals just about all year round. I also find that it takes longer to get over any kind of illness, whether it is a cold or virus. Just add another week to it for full recovery. Does anyone bruise easily? I do, but never have anemia when they check for it. The slightest little bum will bruise me. And I'm always tired with the dark circles. It just comes naturally!

I'm with you, still unsure if this is what I'm dealing with. But the more I talk with other sufferers the more I think I'm in the same boat. I just ache all over. I feel like I'm bruised, but there's no marks. I also have some intestinal isues that are yet to be solved. I deal with chronic headaches, have been diagnosed with migraines since I wa about 13, but dealt with them since about 11. I'm starting to wonder if this was the beginning of it for me. Depression is also on my list of camplaints. Twitches in my arms and legs bug me at times. I have arthritis in my upper back and shoulders, brought on from a bad car wreck when I was 19. Its seemed to have spread throughout my back, arms and legs. With my hips locking up on me. My new doc just recently reassured me that its not connected, so she says she thinks I'm dealing with fibro...

I have constant numbness on my left side, like at my hip and near my butt, and all the way up my back and shoulders and neck, its horrible. i feel like the only way to stretch is is yoga, but would have to keep in that pose all day and its not possible :P. when i get muscle weakness i just collapse and have to sleep. I guess i enjoy sleeping, but it sucks waking up with pain again
