Do you want to send the flower you made to your lover? I have uploaded a picture about how to make a Ronde flower with the materials of sock,tape and thread. This picture spent me half a day to take photo and edit it another half a day. I like make flowers by myself.
I hope you are interested in Ronde flower. And the material is very cheap and easy to get. This kind of sock here is just $0.1 one piece.

hi u and i seen to share a similar hobby i also make these flower..we call them stacking flowers..u can try a variation by just making the wire frame in differen shapes u can make them like heart shape and in shape of a leaf...even an anthurium flower can b made..good job..these hobbies are really intresting..
