I agree with Guardian that it's not our fault that the world temperaure is changing but I do belive that we are speeding up the process with our carbon dioxide release. For you who havent seen Al Gores movie An inconvinient truth I really recomend you to. He brings up how we are affecting the world and how it eventually will turn out, he also gives small tips of things that you can do to lower your carbon dioxide discharge.

Hi kishor_cadcam,
Welcome to myLot!
I hope that I can be the bearer of good news. There is absolutely nothing you or I can do to prevent global warming. That is because there is absolutely nothing that we did that can cause it. Do not believe all of the hype surrounding global warming. Yes the planet is a bit warmer than it was in the 70's. We are about 0.5 C warmer than we were in the mid seventies. But so is Mars. That's right. Mars, a planet that we have absolutely nothing to do with (except the Mars rover but I don't think that did any damage.) has increased in temperature almost exactly the same as we have experienced.

(There are lots of other articles about this. This is only one of them. Most of them make an argument that there are other reasons that Mars is warming and that our situation is different. This seems crazy to me since the warming is almost identical.)
Knowing that we can take rest easy that we humans are NOT causing global warming. It is more likely some cycle that the sun is going through. Since we are fairly new at recording the temperature of earth, we have no idea if this is a normal cycle that happened every few decades or if it is something new. But I am not going to lose any sleep over it. There is nothing we can do one way or the other.
I hope you enjoy yourself here on myLot.
