I was just wondering how many of you invest your money? I invest on ocassion, just a small amount - maybe $40 - $50 at a time. I find that it is very exciting and a lot of fun. I think that a lot of people have misconceptions about investing - believing that you must have a lot of money in order to make money. Which is entirely not true. With all of the programs that are available for use over the internet, investing has become much less complicated and practical for the everyday person. I have found that when I trust my instinct on investments I do well, when I listen to the people who claim to be professionals I lose money. Why is this? I'm not sure. I'm glad that I am able to invest money and prepare for my future.

I totally refuse to pay some one to be able to work. you wouldent go to Walmart or Target and say "Here is $50 now hire me" No you go and fill out an application and based on that you go to an interview and through that you get your job based on experiecne and willingness to learn not because you can pay them up front. IF a company really wants to hire youthey will invest in you nott he other way arround.

I would disagree with you. Investments are very good for you, and you can earn a lot of money if you are good at it. Millionares and billionares invest their money. You don't say "Here is $50 now hire me", when you invest your money it is "Here is $50, I am hiring you." If you invest enough money into a company you OWN that company. Not the other way around. It is not an online survey site that says "Pay $39.95 and earn $500 a day!" Because that IS a scam. Investing is a legitimate opportunity to gain money over a period of time. Bill Gates invests his money, the Hiltons invest their money, The richest people in the world invest their money. It is not a scam.

Maybe I should clarify and say I do stock-market investing.
