I was reading an article on AOL News about people that are selling thier things to be able to afford to just make monthly bills, buy food, or just be able to afford gas. We don't have anything to really sell at my house because we live way under means anyways, but I was wondering how many people out there are hurting this badly. I mean, if I had too, I could get rid of my radio, but we only have one, and the tvs that my boys have are not even worth selling because they are so old. By selling one thing we would not profit from the hassles of trying to sell it. So, how deseparate are you and do you have anything to sell to be able to pay a bill, get food, or even put gas in your car. Thanks ahead of time.

Thankfully I havent gotten to that point, and so far overtime is readily available where I work. I have a few things that could be sold, but I would have to be really really desperate to part with them.

I am living from hand to mouth as they say. I live well below the poverty line so I really do not have anything to sell. I worry all the time how to pay my bills and I eat from foodbanks now.

I know what you mean!! I am floating in the same boat. Although i havent thought about selling too much of my things in order to get money. But it is an thought. I tell you the economy is so messed up. People are struggling just to make ends meet and getting simple this such as gas and food now. I mean i am a cololege student and a full time worker and going from school to work is rough on my gas. Then trying to work and help out in my household is another issue. I sure hope that he problem subsides. And things really get back to normal

Let's just say it's getting harder as days go by. I am self supporting, I was working 2 jobs and now I'm down to one. I'm finding it very hard to find that second job which I really need for survival. No one is hiring, I'm 64 years old and I guess they think I'm too old, I don't know.I have a few things that I think are useful collectables that I've tried to sell and no one seems interested. Things are bad for all.
