I need your help please!!

The high school where I work just opened last year September. We are currently in search for a Mascot and have voted on several names and have chosen the top 5 contenders which are: Spartans, Tigers, Eagles, Sphinx, and Bears. The name will be put on everything from stationary to shirts and it will be titled for example: Thornton Bears. If you don't mind, can you tell me which one you would choose? Say the whole title of the school along with the name of the mascot you will choose. To me, Thornton Spartans doesn't sound too nice. I would appreciate the help. Thank you!

Choice of two for me and they are Thorton Eagles or Thornton Bears. Th others don't seem to go so well. I think you may have already made your decision on using Thrnton Bears as an example as that seems to be foremost when you typed example. Hope your schools mascot brings with it lots of luck. At one time the "Tigers" name was winning and then all of a sudden out of nowhere, the "Spartans" name started winning and I don't like that one at all. I would like Tigers or Eagles. Thank you ellie!!

Of the choices that you listed I think that the Thornton Tigers sounds best. The other ones to me don't fit very well.

When we first started voting, Tigers was winning but after we narrowed it down to the top 5 names, Spartans started winning. It's Tigers or Eagles for me but majority rules right? Thank you lilybug!

I'd be happy to help. I like one in particular. The Thorton Tigers. It shows strength. And when you say it, it has flow. I hope that is helpful, let us know which is chosen.

Yes ersmommy, that is the name I prefer or Eagles second but unfortunately it looks like Spartans is going to be the mascot. Thanks for your help!

Hi, I like Tigers or how about Titans? "Thornton" doesn't roll off the tongue easily so I'd use someting with a T to make it easy to remember. Maybe the kids could vote and decide? Good luck!
