Shoppers have predicted what stores will close...

Thats really an interesting link. Sadly Dillard's the store I work for is one of those listed. Gosh I would hate to think I will have to look for another job in the near future.

Well certainly if things continue the way they are more and more stores will be closing. Customers are not spending as much now and the smaller stores are bound to feel the pinch first. They do have their own operatiional cost to cover and without suffient sales these will only pile up and make them more and more indebted. Some stores really have little reserves at the moment and I do think they will fold. (lol)

stores are always closing in my area and a week later another one opens, people who work hard are not thinking about spending thier money in these high quality store were they cant afford anything.thats why they did the stimulus package so people can go spend thier hard eraned money in their stores, even saying that if they bring the check they wil get giftcards for that store in the amount of the check that they bring in, it's good i guess for those people who do all their shopping in that store for me i wont be doing that im gonna save that for a rainy day.
