Have you experienced is using Linux OS and Windows OS?

I am using both the operating systems as stability wise and security-wise linux is better but the problem is coplicated it first it seems so. Secondly the GUI. GUI of windows is better than that of the Linux. but for developement purpose Linux has inbuilt support for writing ur ownn code. Also softwares available for many softwares are available for windows and for linux we have to search. Then For linx we dont need any zip softwares. It has got inbuilt functionality. So though it is bit complicated Linus is good. But mostly use windows.

I think both Os are very excelent . It`s hard to say which is better . if you want to test a new os, any you have stronger program skills ,Linux is better to you. Because is an open OS ,you can get all resource code . you can do any change as you will . and you can also get the latest rpm from linux community , and they aren all free . the linux 2.6.20 contain office tools ,image tool , ineternet browser . It can satisfied our daily works. there is another advantage , The Kde desktop is very beautiful . Windows os is a the most popular os ,as the develop as years ,it`s very easy to use .another advantage is that windows was supported by more company! So its system compatibility is much more better than linux . but it`s not free, we must pay for it . contain the office tools etc.. So if you only want to use comupter just as a tool for you work and you are not very famility with computer ,I think windows is much better.

Hello raziffsiti, nice topic here. Well for me myself i choose windows. This is because all my friends and my family use windows so i can borrow their other software. It is easy to use also. If linux, it is good also but it is not suitable for me. If only me that use Linux, then my friends is windows so i dont like it.
