Did your cat ever pushed you out of bed?

My cat has been sleeping on my bed for the last three weeks... and this morning I was woken up by the distinct sound of him being about to cough a fur ball. Only half awake... I grabbed him to take him off the bed... and in the process rolled over... and falled off the bed... to find myself lying on the floor. That was enough to scare the hell out of the cat and he run out of the bedroom. I have been keeping that cat of mine inside for the last three weeks so that it would not get into fights... but now he acts like a child and gives me extra work... besides making me fall out of bed. Maybe he is trying to kill me.

Hi Aussies...back live! Well I had asked you for an update on you and Bobcat in my last e-mail. Being that I haven't heard back I am glad I checked out your site. When I read this I had a good chuckle. Your description has a Laurel and Hardy type of flavor to it and is quite humorous. You and Bobcat...what a pair! Have our cats ever pushed us out of bed...no because with 5 in the house they keep us awake with all their nocturnal antics. The odd time we have left our door open they come in...play with our feet under the blankets...or they chase each other around the bedroom and their feet make scratching noises on the laminate flooring. Other times one of our two females Sha-lie uses the stationery bike as a jungle gym and meows a lot as she tries to catch her tail. Other times they try to crawl up the wall to see out the window...even though it is dark. I could add a lot more...but you get the idea why our cats are not given the opportunity to push us out of bed...that is OUR turf at night. Of course during the day...the like to SLEEP on our bed. Too bad they couldn't be that way when we want our turn. (smiles.) Fun post..good to be chatting again. Raia

My cat does not like the tone of my voice when I am angry. He has learned not to wake me up. I can sleep 8 hours with him on the bed and not hear a peep from him.

Just love it when the cat decides to deposit its furball in the middle of the night and one is sound asleep, but boy do you wake up quick, getting tangled up as in the dark you are hoping to make it in time! This discussion made me laugh but not in a bad way Aussie as the fact you fell out of bed trying to do a good deed, (or more like me), not wanting to clean up the mess! They are talking cat curfew once again, but not a problem in our house as puss has been "grounded" for over 6 years now (she is 16) and only goes out under supervision, she has adapted very well.

Ahahahha....LOL I've had that experience once, ever since i made a cozy bed for my cat, my cat never pushes me again, but i miss my cat when it sleeps on it's bed, so whenever i misses my cat to sleep with me, i usually hid his bed. hehehe

Sorry, I had to laugh when I read your post. I hope both you and the cat are okay. I had a very big cat and he was such a baby at times too. But he like to come in at night and if he was outside when you went to bed he would start to meow in a really loud deep voice until you let him inside.

All the above go with loving a cat. Be thankful he lets you sleep in the bed, after all he owns it, right? My cat take over the couch when I want to watch TV.

hello there to U...that's really cute, your cat pushing you out of bed...well, that's really sweet of you because you allow your cat to hang out with you on your bed... My cat doesn't sleep with me in my bed...i don't know, but my cat is really a well-behaved cat...aside from being a talented cat because he knows lots of tricks and stuffs, he's also a very sweet cat... Our cat is always obeying anything what we want him to do...just like staying quiet and not too playful whenever he's inside our home... He always stays and play outside with all the butterflies flying around...he's very cute to look at...i really love my cat so much... I would love to take my cat a bath whenever i have time...he really loves playing in the water with my hands...although, i would not let him stay long in the water because i remember you were the one who did tell that it's not good that the cat stays long in the water...cats fur should always be dry... For me, our cat is the best cat ever in the whole world...he makes me happy whenever i got home from work so very stress and tired...you know whenever i see our cutie cat, it always make me forget all my stress and just hang out with him... I think you cat just wants to be playful, maybe he misses playing with other cats because you said you've been keeping your cat inside your home for three weeks to stay away from fights...maybe he just misses playing outside...it's also good to let him play outside once in a while too... This is really a very cute discussion, i would say...have a blessed day to U...may GOD BLESS U & UR family always!!!
