On 1991, Czar Nicholas II, Empress Alexandra together with their three children including their youngest daughter Anastasia was reburied in the imperial resting place located at St. Petersburg. Rumors penetrated having the message that some of the royal family members survived and one of the famous stories was that of Anastasia where many claimed that they were the missing grand duchess. I read in the yahoo news that the remains of the czar's children: the only heir Alexei and grand duchess Maria has now been found in the forest near Yekaterinburg, where the royal family was killed. DNA confirms the real identity of the bones exhumed last summer and certified U.S. and Russian laboratories conducted the DNA tests. The DNA's we're compared from the remains of Empress Alexandra who is a distant relative of Prince Philip , Queen Elizabeth's husband. But it was still not confirmed if the Russian orthodox accepts this as a genuine truth. --------- I have been researching and really intrigued about this mystery ever since I was a child. Ever since I watched Anastasia, I wanted to know more about this world mystery which is one of the most tragic events that happened and now that it is "solved" I think we should just wait for the final word of the Russian Orthodox about it.
