Bargains we have driven or walked out of our way to get... Were they worth it?

Last night, I drove to a Baskin Robbins because I heard that they were having a special sale on ice cream... one scoop for 31 cents. I got two scoops and spent only 60 cents... I must admit that I thought, "What a bargain!" even though the scoops were a little small. The scoop of ice cream I ate last night was good and I have one in the freezor for later... Do you go to stores or restaurants or other shopping places just for one bargain? When you have done this, have you gotten what you wanted or were you disappointed? What bargains were worth going out of the way for and which ones were not? Share your experiences here...
