Bullied children fighting back

When my child was being bullied by a group of SIX, nothing was done about it. Finally after months of the ABUSE he lashed out at them in a fight. He took on all six of these animals and guess what, HE WAS SUSPENDED FOR A WEEK! They were as well but, He was DEFENDING HIMSELF! I see children on the news all of the time who are at their breaking point. Why aren't the animal bullies on the news being called to the carpet for their behavior???? All we get to see is the ABUSED CHILD. I want to see the faces of the animal bullies splashed all over the news! That would be a nice change! If their faces were splashed all over the news maybe they would think twice about abusing another child again!!!

I think parents of bullied kids need to get together and form a coalition. And in each school system, threaten class actions suits against the school system - after trying to work with them to establish firmer policies about bullying. Harassment is against the law. I think youru story is terrible. And I hope that its resolved. I'm so tired right now, sorry for grammatical errors! Please keep us posted.

i was bullied in school i remember i use to give comments back but both times i reach breaking point i went for the guy and was being held back by a teacher lucky nothing came about it and second time the guy push me too far and i when for him but was giving a talking to i mean i see some of the people who bullied me and their act nice as pie and im think why,but it like okay, and see the guy who case me so much hassle and pain over my school years and he still make comments showing he not grow up the problem is the school have the view wrong sometime and the people doing the bullying make it like their done nothing wrong

I want to agree with you, but worry about what we're saying when we allow bullied kids to defend themselves with no punishment. This sets a bad precedent! There need to be other ways of dealing with bullies than fighting.

I totally agree with. My nephew was bullied by 2 boys for over a year, constantly. He finally got to a breaking point and fought back and he too was suspended. Too much bullying is going on and nothing is done about it. Children need to feel safe when they go to school, not dreading each day.
