i recently came across a newly realeased product,it is a notebook called Assu Eee pc,its as flat as just two DVD cases stacked together ,the amazng thing is it does not use windows,its battery is small,butcan keep the system running for about 2 to 3 hours,it also has no hard drive it operates using a memeory card which you can upgrade,it has a amall screen,anway to read more about thsi product check http://za.asus.com/ i got one for myself and its good i like its operaion so far and its cheap too less than $500 in my currency
