My new favorite tv show is House. Dr. Gregory House has to be the funniest most outspoken man/doctor that gets to the point. He cracks me up everytime he knows one of his patients are trying to step around the truth. If you haven't seen the show House, one of the main characters Dr. Gregory House is a guy that deals with cronic pain from a blood clot in his leg that left him walking with a cane. He takes a lot of Vicadin when he's working and pretty much has gotten himself addicted to the drug. His other doctor friend keeps perscribing him the pills so he can function but everyone knows he's got a problem. His other doctor friends are very good at their jobs as well. They always seem to cover House's butt when he gets into trouble by pushing boundaries on everyone. Do you watch House? What are your thoughts about the show?

Is TheMonk a different show? Or have you seen him on an episode of House? If it's a different show then I've never seen him I don't think. Thanks for your comment

Yes, I watch Dr. House when I happen to meet the show in television. I don“t know what day and at what hour it's programmed... I must have a look at it. Dr. House is a genius, but he has quite a difficult character. Perhaps it's due to his limb leg.

Yes I'm guessing the pain he's in with the bad leg would leave anyone miserable and that stems to where his brutal honesty stands. He's actually a really cool guy not only on his show but in real life as well. They had an interview with him and he's pretty down to earth! Thank you for your comment oriental

I haven't watched many of the episodes for "House" but the ones I have seen I've really enjoyed. I keep forgetting when it is on due to it being on at an odd time here but when I have watched it I loved how they have to figure it all out. How it's never really easy or if it is they are looking for the more complex reason only to then have to go back again. I like how they interact as well. They don't always get along which is kind of nice considering how some shows have every one so buddy buddy. It's refreshing. It's also fun to see how House will get out of trouble, which he loves to get into.

Yes they always end up back at square one, sort of like going in a circle and trying to find the end lol. Then Dr. House comes along and figures it all out. Thank you for your thoughts

house is great! he is so brutally honest and sarcastic. the first time i saw it was when i went to my friend's house. he was a nursing student and showed me an episode of it. it was in season 2 i think episode 13 or 14. it was a about a model that suddenly made a catfight in the runway while the show is still going on and then suddenly she fainted. in the end house found out what really happened. have you seen that episode? it was amazing.. though all of the espidodes were amazing. this one stuck, i guess its because it was my very 1st episode that made me like house. hehehe... whats fun about it is the process they do to find out what causes the incident to happen. house is smart and the 3 people under him and even his collegues. they brainstorm and etc. and its a good medical show because they show you scenes that is happening inside the body plus with houses' attitude on 'i hate the world and people today' and his 'addiction on vicadin' you'll never really know what hes going to do next. lol.

Hi katbalu! I've never seen that episode but now I"m curious. I'm going to buy the first season if and when it comes out and if it's already out I'll have to pick it up the next time I see it. Sounds really interesting. That's the great thing about Dr. Gregory House is that we never know what will come out of his mouth everytime he's going to speak but when I watch House, I sure get a sureal feeling from the acting. Thank you for your comment

HAHA he's too funny! I would definitly buy the first season and second and third and so on whenever they come out with them! I'd buy them all since it's my favorite show at the moment. I love the medical terminology they use as well. I've learned quite a few things from this show. My favorite episode is when this old man came in and house told him to start smoking! HA! I love this show so much. House is such a sarcastic straight to the point man you cant help but find it so funny. I think the writers on this show do an amazing job the endings are always surprizing you just never know what to expect. Alot of shows are so predictable but you cant predict what house will do next.

Yes house always adds somekind of twist doesn't he? He lets his audience believe that he's unsure about a diagnosis but then we'll find out that he actually knew about it the whole time. It's like he's testing his team. Thanks for your comment

I love House. I started watching a couple of shows here and there a few years ago. Then I caught up by watching the first couple of seasons on DVDs from the library. I now catch them on the FOX website. Dr. House is so funny and crazy. I love his relationship with Wilson...they play off each other hilariously. I love the processes they go through to figure out the diagnosis and how original each storyline/episode is.

I'm not sure who writes these series but they are genious! I'll be watching it tonight again so I'll check. I hope they never get rid of House! The television always tend to depress me by taking my favorite shows off the air. Yes I love the way Wilson and House have their relationship too. Thanks for your comment brimia

I didn't like House at first, I was annoyed by him and the fact that it wasn't medically accurate. Came the time there wasn't anything else on TV and everyone I know was raving about it so I gave it another try. I wasn't hooked, but I changed my mind about it.

To tell you the truth uiwwitch, I was the same way in the beginning as well. I watched the show once, found that Dr.House wasn't my cup of tea, left it, and didn't miss it either. Then one day my hubby asked me if I ever watched it and I said no I didn't like the guy because there was a certain look to him that bothered me lol. My hubby had it on the tube one night while I was crocheting and I guess the episode caught my eye, and since then, I've been watching it almost every night whenever I get the chance. Thanks for your comment

Ohh Dr. House, that sarcastic man with the brutally honest persona. I love this show, I've seen it a few times, and I have to say I will be buying the seasons of this show. The show has interesting plots, and storylines. It's entertaining, and it's never boring. When the episodes end, you want to see more. I love shows like this that keep me wanting more.

Wow I'm looking forward to that episode forsure! I've been watching what I think are repeats now and they are on at 10pm everynight. I wished they were on at nine because there's usually nothing on at that time. Another thing I love about the show is that it's the last thing I watch before I go to bed and it leaves me with amazed thoughts. Thanks for your comment

House is a great show! He's horrible to people but for some reason you like him anyway. My daughter and I watch it together, she loves it. She says she wants to be a doctor now since watching this show. Anyway, there's a great supporting cast with plenty of other stories going on. I also like the mystery aspect of it, what's the patient's problem and what's the best treatment.

I certainly wish there were real doctors out there like Dr.House. I don't know any doctor who would put their jobs on the line for a stranger(patient). It seems that he's always covering up lies for them. What a great guy. It's nice that the show has inspired your daughter to become a doctor. Thanks for your comment
