I have had several dreams in my lifetime that have come true in real life. Some were just odd and others were things I wish had not happened and would have remained just a bad dream. The one I remember most, I remember because of the funny reaction of someone who heard it. I dreamed as I was sleeping one night that my oldest boy was in school and that he swore at the spanish teacher in the hall and got suspended for a week. The next morning I woke with the feeling that this was more than just a dream. I warned my son to be careful what he said and did at school that day but didn't share the details with him. Around 1pm the phone rang and my heart sank. Sure enough it was the vice-principal. She said "Is this Mrs. Seekins". I responded yes and she told me who she was. I stopped her. I said let me guess and proceeded to describe what I thought had happened. She sucked in her breath as I spoke. I explained that I had dreamed it the night before and that I warned Kyle to be careful that day. She then informed me that I was so close that it was frightening. What had actually happened was that he got caught swearing by the French teacher in the hallway and he was suspended for 3 days. Then she said "If you ever have a dream about me will you please call me?". We both laughed at that. Often when I dream these types of dreams something will be slightly off. Generally it is the person in the dream. Like I might dream that my Uncle is very sick and it turns out to be his boy or his best friend. A lot of my family had dreams about someone being hit and killed by a car just before this happened to my daughter but NONE of us had dreamed the same person and NONE of us dreamed it was her. I think our minds could not handle that thought and simply switched the person out. But after the accident, many months later, we began to learn that this one or that one had dreamed about someone being hit and killed sometime within the week before the accident. Each person dreamed it was someone different but the accident was always the same. Every one of us just thought it was a bad dream. So yes. I dream a lot of things that happen. I think everyone does, just some are more aware of it than others.

oh my gosh that is really kind of scary... O_o" Never will i dream of something bad that would eventually come true... i am saying i will never because i don't want something bad to happen. *sigh* maybe dreams are premonitions after all...

yep, i've had several... although i only remember bit parts of the dreams , when it actually happens, i know i had dreamed of it and it somehow feels weird, like an affirmation that yes i dreamed this was gonna happen. the question is, if i had dreamed it was gonna happen, is that fate or is that a kind of foretelling of what the future holds? it's kinda screwy when you think about dreams actually coming true...

You are talking about deja vu or the sixth sense? Well, these mysterious things, though not yet proven by science, really happen to us occasionally, which compels me to believe there are a kind of mysterious force that guide us to avert dangers. I wish I do have a good sixth sense, so that I will not do anything stupid in the future. By the way, there are some films about the people who have to ability to foresee the things happen in advance, which are great watches.

I don't remember having any "dream-come-trues" but I think it's possible. I don't think dreams are real 'cos how would you explain the weirdest dreams? But yeah, some dreams may happen in real life but I think it must be just good luck. Also, human often dreams about something they think about when being awake so if you, for example, think in the evening to do something next day, you can see a dream of it. Then the next day you may not remember thinking about doing that thing but you still remember it in your subconscious and do it.

SAme here ^_^ I too have dreams that happen in real life.. NOrmally the actual thing will happen few months after my dreams, and it's always at the moment when i forgot about the dream and unexpectedly, the dream will almost come truth.. The setting and ple are exactly the same as in the dream, just that, the actual ending is different.. hehe ^_^ In fact, i always had a bad ending in the dreams, but when it came true, my ending is average.. haha

i have a couple dreams that have happened in real life, 2 or 3 months after i had the actual dream. same sequences and idea, but the details are different. the conversation is exactly the same. i think they are Spiritual from the other world, trying to tell us about our future. actually, 2/3 of the dream occurred, but the last 1/3 hasnt happened yet. the other 2 dreams, i saw 2 relatives' babies born before they were born. i knew what the baby would look like before they were born. actually their babies were a lot older in the dream.

Yes. This happens to me at least a couple of times a year. And it used to scare me. Of course now I see it as a useful tool. I can usually tell when I'm about to receive one of this dreams. I get this weird feeling right before I go to sleep.

I have had a few dreams that really happened... while I was dreaming them. I have yet to find the right "name" for this phenomenon. Similar in ways... I dreamt of standing on a front porch. Across the road everything was so green and beautiful. Then tiny tornados came rolling along down the road. Turned out a small Tennessee community was seeing a much larger tornado at the time. I saw the exact place I was standing, on cnn's website the next day.

Ever heard of Deja vu? Well it has happened to me a lot of times already. You know those times wherein you get stunned and think of the situation as "this has happened before"? Well, I've experienced those and after thinking hard, I realize that some I have dreamt of already..hehe
